What other customers Say About the Session

I highly recommend Justin for any newcomer to Rwanda. Justin organized a 1,5 hour one-on-one session about Rwandan culture for me. The session was well structured and focused on the issues relevant for expats. Justin is very good at explaining Rwanda and understands what is relevant for a newcomer.

Research shows that up to 50% of expatriates fail in their international assignment. According to INSEAD business school, lack of cultural support and appropriate cultural orientation is one of the 5 reasons expatriates fail abroad.

This one hour and half session introduces participants to the general Rwandan cultural values and general Rwandan business etiquettes. The session uses case studies that show how cultural assumptions play out in day-to-day work life and discusses strategies to effectively deal with differences between Rwandan cultural and those of the participants.

Outcomes of the Training

  • Appropriately manage and motivate Rwandan staff.
