Rwanda Cultural Orientation

Effectively relate and function in Rwanda social and business environment

Rwanda Business Culture Training

Rwanda Business culture is a one-hour session that introduces participants to Rwanda general business etiquettes, behaviors and values. The session uses cultural values dimensions to explain general Rwandan culture and how it affects business functions.
The ultimate goal of the training is to give participants practical knowledge and skills to effectively function in Rwandan business environment with less culture shock. This can be a one-on-one session over a cup of coffee or a group session.

Cultural Mentorship Sessions

Cultural mentorship sessions are one on one sessions we do with expatriates in Rwanda to help them deal with culture shock and adjust to the culture and life in Rwanda.

This is a space to debrief cultural experiences, ask questions and create strategies to copy with cultural differences. This mentorship sessions can either focus on work settings (managing your Rwanda team, dealing with business stakeholders etc..) or social and community life.

General Rwanda Cultural Orientation

This one hour and half session introduces participants to the general Rwandan mannerisms and behaviors. The session covers 30 cultural tips (greetings, physical appearance, personal space, relationships, invitations, gestures, money, dos and don'ts etc..) and some Rwanda home grown solution that contribute to the socio-economic development of Rwanda.

This session prepares newly relocated expatriates to enter Rwandan culture and appropriately communicate and engage with Rwandans with less cultural confusion and clashes. It is a great cultural briefing session for short mission trips and tourists to appropriately and respectfully engage with Rwandan people and Rwandan culture.

Customers' Feedback

"I truly enjoyed Justin training both from content and performance. I found Justin both clear, listening and also relevant on questions. The 1hour format is perfect for consistent and efficient training, and content is both useful on professional and personal experiences, and even quickly verified when living in Rwanda. I therefore strongly recommend the Rwanda cultural awareness training for anyone who wants to dive into main Rwandan culture aspects."

I highly recommend Justin for any newcomer to Rwanda. Justin organised a 1,5 hour one-on-one session about Rwandan culture for me. The session was well structured and focused on the issues relevant for expats. Justin is very good at explaining Rwanda and understands what is relevant for a newcomer.
