Growing Your Career with Cultural Intelligence: Free Virtual Training for Entry Level Professionals in Rwanda​

Training Objectives 
  • Understand what cultural intelligence is and why it matters for young professionals in Rwanda
  • Draw your cultural values orientation map and identify cultural behaviors that could work against you in multicultural situations
  • Have the  ability to listen, communicate, understand, and respond adequately across cultures.
  • Apply acquired cultural intelligence skills in your day to day work and effectively relate with people from different cultural backgrounds

Training Structure
This training is divided into three session of one hour each. Training sessions will be limited to 40 participants to ensure active and engaging sessions. Participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the three sessions.

Sessions Schedule 
  • Session 1: Thursday 24th September from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
  • Session 2: Friday 25th September from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
  • Session 3: Monday 29th September from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

With the increase of business investments and global organisations expansions in Rwanda, the workforce is becoming more and more culturally diverse which makes cultural intelligence no longer an optional competence but an imperative skill to be competitive at the local and global job market.

This is an online (via zoom) training that aims at equipping entry levels professionals in Rwanda with intercultural skills to work and thrive in today's multicultural work settings. The training will explore 4 cultural intelligence capabilities and 10 cultural values orientations that influence the way people build relationship, approach work, solve problems etc... After this training participants will be able to understand why they do things the way they do it and how their cultural behaviors could work against them in multicultural work settings and thereafter develop a plan to improve their cultural agility skills.
