Rwanda Cultural Awareness Training
This is a 1.5 hour cultural awareness session that helps new arrived internationals to understand basic Rwandan cultural behaviors and mannerisms. The session covers a brief history of Rwanda, Rwanda administrative structure, Rwanda home grown solutions and 25 cultural tips that explain mannerisms and behaviors in Rwanda.
Rwanda Cultural Awareness Training was so much more than I expected. It's an excellent introduction to Rwandan people's values, beliefs, perceptions, and mannerisms. Justin's insight, critical thinking, and good quality humour shed light upon the social and professional relationships in the context of Rwanda and gave me a clear understanding of the differences between my culture and the culture of Rwanda. I stepped out of the training feeling more appreciative of Rwandan people's behaviours, and empowered to build strong and long-lasting friendships with the people who so wholeheartedly have welcomed me in their country.

When we made the decision to move to Rwanda, from England, we were extremely aware that we may lack the practical and cultural knowledge needed to achieve our vision. Filling this knowledge gap quickly was extremely important for us mainly because we have five young children and so we were mindful that they have a smooth transition once we moved. That’s why we were extremely relived to discover that Justin provided a service that was thorough and flexible enough to cater for our various needs. He created a bespoke passage that allowed for us to secure & furnish a family home, set up all the necessary utilities and purchase a reliable car, all within a month of our arrival.
Alan & Tandi Francis
My family and I are relocating to Rwanda from the US. We hired Justin Ngoga to give us a city tour around Kigali in order to narrow down potential neighborhoods where we could live. We were expecting a basic tour of Kigali but what we received far exceeded our expectations. Justin provided so much insight into the different neighborhoods and gave us so much more to consider.
He was very patient with us and didn’t mind stopping if we wanted to get out of the car and take pictures or get a closer look at the neighborhood. He was also very thorough in answering all of our questions that we had along the way. I also have to highlight how warm and friendly Justin was. He even invited me and my family to his home for dinner, which is an experience we won’t ever forget.
We were blown away by his kindness and generosity. I would strongly recommend his services to anyone looking to relocate from abroad and wanting a more personal touch. My family and I received a ton of useful information from Justin and are looking forward to working with him in the future.
