Cultural Intelligence: Must Have Skills to Effectively Work Across Cultures
The first half of the training lecture (2 hours) will define key concepts (culture, cultural intelligence, four cultural intelligence capabilities and 10 cultural values dimensions). The second half of the training (2 hours) will engage participants in activities: drawing cultural values map, case study analysis to see how cultural misunderstandings affect professional relationships and performance and create actionable next steps to build their cultural intelligence skills.
The training will be offered virtually over the course of two days. Participants will be granted a certificate of completion only when they have completed the two training sessions. For the sake of effective participatory methodology, every training cohort will be limited to 20 people.
With globalization and technology, virtual and physical workplaces are becoming more and more culturally diverse. The complexities of this cultural diversity is making it imperative for professionals to have intercultural skills to be able to work and succeed in the current interconnected and culturally diverse business environments.
