Kinyarwanda for Expats
This book covers five basic competencies (greetings and introducing yourself, talking about family, saying your daily activities, buying and bargaining at the market, asking and giving directions) that I believe every expats in Rwanda should have to do basic conversation in Kinyarwanda. Beyond giving expats the expression to communicate what they want, these competencies are great foundation to smooth cultural adaptation process.
This is book has two main parts. The first part combines grammar, 18 dialogs, explained new words and exercises for all the five competencies. The second part is a list of 150 phrases that I believe are very important to know in your first few months in Rwanda.
